Every tool is individually tested to 10000V at the end of the manufacturing cycle.
After the most vulnerable part of the tool is penetrated, no breakdown or flashover should occur when 5000V are applied for 3 minutes. After the tool is heated 70 C and 50Kg. force is applied, the sheath and guard should remain bonded to the metal. After the tool is exposed to a flame for 10 seconds, the flame spread over the tool should be minimal. After the tool is chilled to -25 C, the sheating should not crack when a force is applied to the handle end.
