National Detroit HD8 Air Sander 8" Random Orbit 3/16" Stroke
The National Detroit HD8 is an air sander comes with 8" random orbit 3/16" stroke. The Model HD-8 is an 8" random orbital sander developed for sanding large, flat areas. It features a double row orbit bearing for long life, rigid construction and a 5 point pad attachment that allows complete use of the abrasive. The foam grips enhance ergonomics and greatly increase operator comfort. Available with vinyl or hook & loop pad, specify when ordering. The HD-8 is also available in a dust extraction model (Model HD-8DE).

It features all the power, and the same dependable air motor, as the Model 900...but it's almost 20% lighter! An ingenious drive geometry features double row orbit bearings and a 5-point pad attachment. There is no center stud to flex or bend, so the pad always flat on the work surface. You get fast, even sanding, and a better quality finish with less effort, less vibration, and reduced operator fatigue. The HD-8 also features a padded foam grip for both hand grip and T-handle for exceptional operator comfort.
